About Us

Mission Statement
The Iowa Grassroots Coalition (IAGRC) is a non-partisan group comprised of people from all over Iowa who are working to inspire Americans to restore our republic. IAGRC coordinates and pools resources to help local grassroots organizations achieve their goals. These groups include, but are not limited to, SOAR chapters, 912 Project groups, Tea Party organizations, and other liberty-minded organizations that would like to see our freedoms protected, the three branches of our federal government returned to their intended limited roles, and our Constitution supported and defended.

About IAGRC
The Iowa Grassroots Coalition (IAGRC) is a non-partisan group comprised of people from all over Iowa who are working to inspire Americans to restore our republic. IAGRC coordinates and pools resources to help local grassroots organizations achieve their goals. These groups include, but are not limited to, SOAR chapters, 912 Project groups, Tea Party organizations, and other liberty-minded organizations that would like to see our freedoms protected, the three branches of our federal government returned to their intended limited roles, and our Constitution supported and defended.

The IAGRC itself is a coalition focused entity that in itself has no leaders. There are those IAGRC members that volunteer to develop, upkeep and maintain the website that is designed solely for communication, commitment, and collaborations between and among as many Iowa Grassroots groups as want to be a part of the coalition. The IAGRC is not an umbrella organization nor is it an authority in anyway to anyone or group. It is simply an aid, to assist in the mission statement as stated on the home page through the 3 C’s listed above. This website, as you will see once you surf through it and get to know its uses, is a one stop shop designed to be an asset to any grassroots group whether it is in its start up or if it is a well seasoned group.

Can I join?
The IAGRC provides an easy way for individuals to be able to quickly find a group or contact in their area. One of the resources available here is the Iowa map of grassroots groups that will link you to the contact in your area. This is a communications and coordinating tool for groups across the state. If you have a group that would like to participate, or would like to be an area contact, simply click on a link in your area and send an email to one of the participating organizers.

Resources
Participants in the IAGRC are volunteers and are our best resource. The members of the individual participating groups provide a limitless pool of knowledge and ability.

Please check out the resources subpage in this website for specific resources.

Can candidates get an endorsement?
The IAGRC is not a political action committee or organization. Each participating group may have a favorite candidate, and choose or choose not to endorse one or more candidates. One of our binding strengths is our communications among the group organizers. Decisions are left to the individual groups.

Events or Rallies
Events and rallies can be found on the IAGRC calendar. These are events that individual groups or organizations are promoting, as well as events that are collaborative efforts among coalition participants. For local happenings and individual group meetings, visit the web sites of the individual groups!
